Here is some more proof that Obama is nothing but a Marxist in a Democrats coat. I say this because I have started to think that the Democratic party as been hijacked by the extreme left. That is the only way I can believe when you go from JFK to what is currently running for President and what is in Congress under Pelosi.

Big government that is supposed to give you everything, does not allow profits, high taxes, and nationalized businesses. That is what they want for you and me. So I ask, what is so wrong with working and providing for your family? What is so wrong with people or businesses making a profit?

For those of you that think our health system so bad, let me ask you if you like HMO’s? If you do then I guess your going to like it when the government provides you health care. Most hate the fact that HMO’s tell their doctors what drugs or procedures can be performed, yet they want to give that right to the government that can’t even balance the budget.

Then for those of you that think the oil companies are make to much profit. What if you were the one that started making millions in profits and the government decided that you had to cut your prices because someone in a poor community could afford it. Then on top of that the government chose to put a high tax on that product because they knew there was a high demand on it at the store and then placed more taxes on that same product from you. Well that is what is happening now, yet most people blame oil companies for this even though oil is taxed more than any other product. It is taxed at the pump and then in the profit is taxed, not to mention the import taxes also.

So what it the answers to the fight the high prices at the pump according to the left? Nationalize the oil industry and refineries.

My point is, this is where the Obama Presidency wants to take us. With him in office and the current Congress in power, Lord have mercy on us.

Let me guess, this league also believes we are all winners. Sorry, but there are good, bad, and mediocre players in all games. We all can not be Babe Ruth, or Walter Paytons. If that was the case then why would we go and watch the games in the first place.

Let the kids play the damn game. Him being that good can actually help the other players learn how to hit the ball. Heck it would also give them one hell of a boost if they learn to hit his pitches.

I am so sick and tired of people telling me that we have to make sure that everyone makes the team, everyone can win sometimes. Screw that! Teach these kids that life is not fair and sometimes your of on the top and other times your on the bottom.

Well this is the ninth bank to fall this year. The good thing is that another bank is already going to take over operations. This is good because that means the cost to FDIC will be less and be recouped quicker. However, it is still a very troublesome thing to watch banks failing so much in the current economy.

In this story there was some interesting information about past trends that the FDIC reported.

1. Since October 2000 there have been 36 bank failures.
2. Of those failures 12 were in 2002, the highest of the period reported.
3. 2005 and 2006 both had no failed banks.
4. The closure rate is speeding up currently with $500 billion in writedowns and credit losses since 2007.
5. The problem bank list as grown 18% in the first quarter to 90 banks with combined assets of $26.3 billion.

In my opinion, this is something to really watch. It could get better or worst after the Presidential election, many time election years tend to play havoc on the economy. I won’t say either Obama or McCain being elected will be positive or negative for the simple fact it depends more on how the country feels after the election. But I don’t believe that there will be much stopping the failures until after the housing market calms down and gas prices are more affordable.

Sometimes people need to listen to the more senior and more experienced members of their own party. I believe this is one of those times.

So is Obama for or against abortion?

Well today he says one thing to one group of people and then another to a different group. Of course if it is in a mixed group of people he just won’t answer the question. Unless you can figure out what he meant by, “Well, I think that whether you are looking at it from a theological perspective or a scientific perspective, answering that question with specificity, you know, is above my pay grade.”

Well he keeps saying that he is a Christian man, so that would mean he should be against abortion since the Bible says that it is murder to kill even the fetus. So, if you are a true Christian, you don’t even look at the scientific perspective to guide you here. True a person of science would say that it depends if the fetus can live outside of the womb, but as a Christian you believe live begins at conception.

Either way, this time he already answered the question by the way he voted while in the Illinois Senate. He voted against the Illinois Born Alive Infant Protection Act in 2002. This bill in a nutshell would have protected fetuses that were being aborted but somehow made it out before they could drill it’s head and kill it. It required a second doctor to take charge of the care of the baby and save it’s life. But in Obama’s view it did nothing but burden the doctors and the woman who wanted the abortion. That’s right, BURDEN the doctors and the woman. Damn the baby for fighting to live.

According to the transcript, Obama said:

As I understand it, this puts the burden on the attending physician who has determined, since they were performing this procedure, that, in fact, this is a nonviable fetus; that if that fetus, or child – however way you want to describe it – is now outside the mother’s womb and the doctor continues to think that it’s nonviable but there’s, let’s say, movement or some indication that, in fact, they’re not just coming out limp and dead, that, in fact, they would then have to call a second physician to monitor and check off and make sure that this is not a live child that could be saved.

Now my next question is simple this. If the question about when a baby gets it’s human rights is about his pay grade, then when is it going to be within his pay grade for anyone else’s?

I don’t normally agree with PETA, in fact I almost would say I hate them. However, once you review the news story I posted you may agree with them here.

I have no problem to use animals as food, clothing, or for working proposes, hell I own a leather jacket, 5x (five beaver pelts) cowboy hat and love to eat deer. But I was raised to never allow and animal to suffer and to kill an animal quick if for food.

I will pre-warn you that t he video in the story is very graphic. Don’t let your children to watch it.

And to think, China’s record was so great that the Olympics are being held there this year. Makes me Proud.

Russia is not just trying to show it’s muscle, it is now trying to start a war. You see, if they attack Poland as their threat states, the treaty we have with Poland make it just like an attack on our home land. That you mean out and out war with a country that had no problem invading Georgia. However, this might been really bad in the aspect that they have been working hard to gain the Middle-Eastern countries into their corner.

If you check out both news stories you will find the threat towards Poland and the fact Syria and Russia have now started to work together militarily. This means that we will have to worry about Russia, China (Yes,  Russia and China have been working together a lot lately.), Syria, and Iran. Each of these countries have been working together on building a strong military alliance and been sharing arms and technologies with each other.

To make matters more worrisome, Russia has started to split ties with NATO. True they were never a member nation of NATO, but they had tried a number of times to join.

Now those of you that will say that we just need to go to the UN to stop the Russian problem. Yeah Right! Go ahead and try to do that. You will see that there are a few countries that are on the Security  Counsel that are lifetime member and have 100% veto right on any resolution that come before them. The countries are: America, France, United Kingdom, China, and Russia. So what do you think Russia or China will do?

Oh, also don’t think that Russia plans on leaving Georgia either. Nope, According to the LA Times a Russian General by the name of Anatoly Nogovitsyn. In most cases that might not mean much, but this general also has the title of Deputy Chief of General Staff. Not just some general but one of the top of the Russian Army.

Whether or not you believe what I have said here, the news stories I have read all have been saying the same information. Liberal and Conservative, USA and European news media are telling the same story.
